RESIDENTS at a Sheffield home for the elderly are enjoying watching a new TV thanks to a donation from their friends at a nearby school.
Sixth formers at Ranmoor's Notre Dame RC School launched a project called Befriend A Friend late last year in conjunction with the Tapton Edge residential home.
They then entered their idea into a national Dragon's Den-style competition titled Pit

School assistant Lorraine Tazzyman said: "The students were a little apprehensive at first but soon started to enjoy the weekly visits, and the residents looked forward to seeing them," she said.
