TIME travel came to Sheffield yesterday with the arrival of a time machine at Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet.
Trouble is the bloomin' thing was stuck in reverse and the machine only went backwards through time.
The time machine's visit marked the Hamlet's final Family Sunday event of this year when visitors were invited to travel back to the Victorian Era and World War Two.
And it seems there was stacks to do in those days of yesteryear.
Children were invited to visit a Victorian School where Christmas decorations were being made for one the city's finest houses of the period.
A blacksmith and a grinder gave demonstrations and there were singalongs, drama sessions, music, air raid warnings and the chance to learn to be a firefighter.
