THE NHS is 60 years old. What a transformation.
I remember my doctor's waiting room, watching patients on wooden seats, people coughing and sneezing and a kid covered in spots.

Look now: our medical centre has a manager, four receptionists, six nurses , five GPs and a pharmacy, all in one building.

Well done NHS, may you carry on the good work.
