A DAY doesn't go by without us hearing a story about people having trouble seeing their GP or other problems of the Health Service.
Recent research by the National Consumer Council found that some people have real problems getting through to their GP.

People told us they faced a stark choice - using emergency health services, even when it wasn't urgent, or going to their chemist and hoping for the best.

We are now looking into the quality of customer service in GP surgeries.

The NCC is keen to hear from readers about their experiences, good or bad, of making an appointment and the service they get from GP receptionists and other staff at their GP practice.

Please write to us at: NCC Freepost, SW324, London SW1W ODH or email on a.noun@ncc.org.uk by June 2.

Philip Cullum, Acting Chief Executive.
