I WAS very sad to read of the death of Peter Glossop. I have met him quite a few times at his concerts in Sheffield and when he visited his family at Kiveton Park.
We were invited to see him having all his make-up done at the Lyceum before he did a performance, it was great.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him outside his opera work. His wife, Joyce, was also a great singer.
