MY thanks to you for publishing the heroic letter from Neil Satur (June 30) regarding his preventative action that saved the life of a little pedestrian against the onslaught of a law-breaking cyclist.
It brings home the stark reality we must face in this increasingly fast-paced life: that life is precious; speed kills and all road users have the responsibility to take more care. I hope that city cyclist groups will drive the message home that their members should pay greater attention to traffic laws.

Mrs Irene Foletti, Rex Avenue, Sheffield S7.
