Derbyshire's largest independent coach and bus operator, TM Travel, has bought new premises in Sheffield in a £1.05 million deal funded by NatWest Commercial Banking.
The new base in Halfway will provide larger and much needed garaging to house TM Travel's fleet of 100 vehicles, as well as bigger offices. The move is a major milestone in the development of the company, which started out in 1995 with just one bus. Since then, the company has grown to create jobs for 170 people and nowadays, its fleet covers four million miles a year.

Managing director Tim Watts said: "This is a major step for the company and will now enable us to move forward in line with our strategic growth plans."

Mr Watts praised the team at NatWest that put together the comprehensive funding package which TM needed in order to be able to buy its new site.
