Law firm Nabs recruitment awards

SHEFFILD and London law firm Nabarro is celebrating winning two national accolades for its success in recruiting and training lawyers.
The firm has won a top award in the TARGET National Graduate Recruitment Awards for the second year running, for having the best undergraduate vacation programme.

And, it has been named best recruiter in the large city firm category of the fifth annual LawCareers.Net Training and Recruitment Awards

Around 30,000 students and graduates from across the country voted in the TARGET awards and was voted best recruiter by trainees and newly-qualified solicitors..

Nabarro runs a three-week summer work placement scheme, from which it recruits 90 per cent of its trainees.

"We receive a lot of positive feedback from people taking part in the scheme and we have a very good retention rate," says Sarah Meldrum, Nabarro's Sheffield-based property partner, who is responsible for trainee recruitment and mentoring.
